I am very honoured to be apart of this exhibit!!!
My love of jewellery stems from my Indian heritage. Admittedly, I don’t watch any Bollywood films ?, but when I was a lot younger my mom would watch them and I would simply be obsessed with what I’d see the actresses wearing... all that glitter and gold!!! ?
I’ve made a select number of pieces, each reflecting a story about India’s intricate beliefs and history. One that I am so grateful to still feel connected to, as a first generation Canadian.
Opening reception May 2nd 6-8pm
Festival May 11th
Gallery exhibit runs until May 30th.
